If you've ever wondered what Sarah does when she's not blogging up a storm, allow me don my little-sister hat and rat her out. Along with furtively watching reruns of Hart of Dixie (when she's drunk she like, "Wade can be such a dick", but sober she get's all "Hart of whatsie?") and getting through design books like I get through smokes, she make lampshades. Amazing lampshades.
If you're wondering just how amazing, take a look. These aren't the dusty ruffles your granny had. Designing and making the quirky shades by hand in her Dublin studio and selling them under the name Shady And The Lamp, Sarah's on track for world-domination, one undressed bulb at a time. Once Hart of Dixie isn't repeated too often, of course.
Shades available to buy from Shady and the Lamp's Etsy store.
