Up until now our Tuesday Boozeday cocktail recipes have been made using the alcoholic basics; vodka, gin, rum and whiskey. This month, however, I’ve decided to mix things up a bit and extend my spirit family with the introduction of cherry liqueur, a drink I’ll be focussing on for February. Cherry liqueur (not to be confused with the far less sweet cherry kirsch) has built-in impressiveness thanks to the fact that not many people use it and pulling out a bottle, even if you just mix it with cola (my kind of cherry cola), makes you seem rather fancy-pants.
